“Don’t Draw My tongue” says Portia. Is the ad a help or a hindrance?

Based on recent commentary around town, I wanted to get some feedback on this new commercial  which showed the Hon. Portia Simpson-Miller in a heated moment on the platform.

There are two responses which I have been hearing:

 1. Some people are frowning and they think it is despicable. She is an embarrassment to the nation for behaving like that. She is not worthy of representing her country.

 2. Some people think it is helping her as it is believed that a speaker tailor’s his or her speech for the intended audience. The incident is not a recent matter so why are people screaming now, why not then. And how do we know that some people are not saying “Go deh Sista P, tell dem how it goh”?

 What’s your view?
