Finally the day is upon us and I am so happy it is coming and going. I had grown campaign weary because it appears that no matter how you switched to another local station everyone was in your face.
Needless to say, I want to applaud all 146 candidates for coming to the fore to represent the Jamaican people. It is not an easy decision to abandon your own agenda in the name of others. Instead of sitting down and criticising the system, you have all decided to offer yourself for public office.
To all candidates, I wish you all the best.
I will be posting the results (and maybe some commentary) as the ballots are counted and announced to the public.
Please pray for peace on election day. Violence solves nothing!

Very well said…At the end of the day, remember that holding public office has some tremendous responsibilities as well as a few rights as well. That is the reason why you have to have such integrity because of those factors.
